Snow's Festival The famous "joie de vivre" of Montreal is never expressed better than during Canada's premier Winter Festival, the Fête des Neiges. Held in the Parc Jean-Drapeau, it runs over three consecutive weekends, with selected events during the intervening weeks. Montréal’s largest outdoor winter event dates back to the early 1980's. Proud of their Nordic heritage, Montrealers expressed their desire to have their own festival to celebrate all that winter has to offer. To reach Jean-Drapeau Park from Montreal, drive across the Jacques Cartier or Concord Bridge or take Montreal's Metro subway. |
